EQUITIES MODULE

This module is used to handle stock investments. This module allows you to carry out all and depict the actions that happen on the ground. These include the following functionality:

• Internal order creations: This option allows the user to create orders that are based on the allocation that would have already been set in the system. This means that you build your order based on allocations that are certain in the system already.
• Order creations: This option is the reverse of the option above. This option lets the user build an order first, then from that order make the allocations.
• Broker note creations: This option allows you to capture all broker notes into the system against each deal processed in the system. These help you link every deal to its dealers and their full details.
• Scrip processing:For deals that require scrip (share certificates) the system can attach and detach depending on the deal type. The system also carries out functionalities like scrip registration; scrip split script take-on and scrip minus.
• Corporate actions: Corporate actions are an added action in the system which allows you to carry out all your corporate actions such as dividends, splits, and consolidations, swaps, and conversions as well as bonus issues. This part of the system also houses the following functionality of equities: share price input used on a daily calculation of portfolio values, share performance monitor which gives you a graph showing the activity of chosen counter/s over a selected date range, and the indexes/indicators.
